Por norma nunca leio um livro só. De momento estou investida em três livros:
1) 8th Confession do James Patterson (o oitavo livro da série Women's Murder Club)
São livros rápidos de ler sobre uma série de amigas que se juntam e trabalham junto ao crime.
Cada livro é sobre um ou mais homicídios e a resolução dos casos.  Se gostam de ler livros pequenos sobre crime recomendo esta série. (que ainda não foi traduzida para português).

Usually I always read more than one book. At the moment I'm invested in these three:
1) 8th Confession by James Patterson (8th book in the Women's Murder Club).
To me they are really quick reads - and they are about some friends and that work near crime. Each book is about one or more murders and the case around it. If you like small crime books I recommend this series.


2) The Stone cutter de Camilla Lackberg - em Portugal ficou A Teia de Cinzas. É o terceiro da série (enganei-me quando comecei a ler e em vez de começar o segundo, comecei o terceiro).
Outro livro sobre crime, outra série. Este passa-se num remoto local chamado de Fjällbacka na Suécia. Estou a ter alguma dificuldade em lê-lo porque trata do homicídio de uma criança, e à medida que leio começo a antecipar os podres da família e vizinhos (que apesar de poderem estarem errados) fazem-me pensar duas vezes antes de continuar a ler o livro.

2) The Stone cutter by Camilla Lackberg. It's the third book of the series (I picked up by mistake the third instead of the second). Other book about crimes. This one happens in remote Fjällbacka in Sweden. I'm having some dificulteis in reading it because it's about the murder of a child, and while I'm reading I keep anticipating the rotten things that I will be discovering about her family and neighbours (and although they might be wrong) it makes me think twice before picking up the book again.


3) The Drawing of the Three do Stephen King (2º da série Dark Tower) Em Portugal ficou A Escolha dos Três.
Esta série escrita por Stephen King é uma mistura de fantasia e ficção científica. Confesso que me está a surpreender bastante. É uma daquelas séries em que não quero perder nenhum detalhe, pois sei que em vários livros há referências a outras obras do autor, para além de referências de cultura pop, daí estar a lê-lo a um ritmo mais lento do que o habitual.

E se vos dizer que estes três livros foram comprados em segunda-mão? Qualquer um deles em diferentes estados de uso. Há qualquer coisa de diferente em ter um livro que já pertenceu e já foi lido por outra pessoa. A mim não me incomoda, mesmo quando o livro apresenta maiores sinais de uso. E a vocês?
O que acham das fotografias de hoje? Apeteceu-me fazer algo diferente e fotografar da minha varanda.

3) The Drawing of the Three by Stephen King (2nd book in the Dark Tower series)
This series is a mix between fantasy and sci-fi. I confess that it's surprising me a lot. It's one of the those series that I don't want to miss a thing, because I know there are a lot of references to other books by the author, besides pop culture references, that's why I'm reading a little slower than usual.

And if I told you that these books are all second-hand? Each one of them in different stages of use. There is something different in owning a book that belonged to someone else. It doesn't bother me, even when the book looks very used. What about you?
